How does the eyebrow lift work?
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis and takes 1-2 hours. The skin around the eyebrows is gently tightened, the eyebrows are raised to a higher position and the underlying muscles are relieved.
The eyebrow lift can be performed either directly on the upper edge of the eyebrows or via the temple region. The incisions are made in a way that the scars are either in the natural brow line or inconspicuous in the hair and are barely visible after healing.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia or with additional twilight sleep.
The stitches can be removed after about a week, and sporting activities are possible again after about two weeks.

Healing after a brow lift is usually uncomplicated.

- Physical rest and avoidance of bending forward for the first 5–7 days
- Sutures removed after a week
- Return to normal activities after around 1 week
- No sport for approx. 2 weeks
- The final result is visible after 3–6 months
