Every face is unique and shaped by individual life stories. The face refelects our personality and gives us expression. A brilliant gaze and firm skin give us a fresh and healthy look. However, the skin is subject to a natural ageing process.
The focus of treatments on the face, is primarily on the eyes, and the contours of the face. Fine corrections can visibly refresh and rejuvenate the face and preserve its natural authenticity. The harmony of proportions is optimized individually by using different treatments.
At corrigé, we pay attention to maintaining or restoring the unique natural look of your face.
Our services include:
Over time, the tissue around your eye loses its elasticity with age. This causes lowered eyelids, and dark circles or bags under the eyes. Often resulting in tired, or a sad facial expression. With microfine incisions, the upper and lower eyelids, are operated in such a way, that your natural bright expression is restored. If necessary, excess fat may be removed or redistributed.
The operation is performed under local anaesthesia (with or without sleep) and takes about one to two hours. After five to seven days, the stitches are removed, and sporting activities are possible again after about two weeks. A temporary swelling and bruising can be concealed by make-up and wearing sunglasses.

Raising the eyebrows, permanently reduces disturbing wrinkles and creates a natural, open, and alert look. Your forehead muscles are relieved, and the skin around the eyelid area is tightened. The operation is performed under local anaesthesia (with or without sleep) and takes about an hour. The procedure is done in a way that the scars are hidden above the brows, and hardly visible. After a week, the stitches are removed, and sporting activities are possible again after about two weeks.

With the aging process, it’s quite normal that the skin sags. Even slim people can develop annoying jowls, a double chin and sagging wrinkles. Having a facelift, can tighten and restore contours in the lower face and neck area. The aim is to maintain a natural appearance and a positive, fresh appearance. Other minor procedures can be combined with the facelift, e.g., upper lip lift, eyelid tightening, lipofilling. The modern facelift tightens the deep subcutaneous tissue, with removal of excess skin, and leaves an almost invisible scar in front of and behind the ear. In addition, the middle part of the neck can be tightened more intensively via a micro-fine incision under the chin. The procedure is performed under anaesthesia and requires an overnight stay in the clinic for monitoring. After two to three weeks, you will be ready to go out again, and can resume your normal sporting activity.

If you have small fat deposits, liposuction is sometimes enough to achieve the desired result you are looking for. With less elastic skin, a facelift maybe recommended for further tightening.
You can correct the distance between your nose and upper lip, to optimise the proportions in the lower third of your face. The upper lip gains some volume (without filler injection) and a natural appearance of the lips is preserved. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia with or without sleep.
Protruding as well as misshapen or injured ears can be corrected surgically. The procedure takes about one to two hours and takes place over the back of the ear with micro-fine incisions, making the scars not visible from the outside. Strongly protruding ears can already be corrected in childhood. The outpatient procedure is performed under local anaesthesia with or without sleep. For four weeks afterwards, a headband must be worn day and night. We also treat dilated ear holes or split earlobes.
With an aesthetic nose correction, the entire aspect of your face is changed. It must therefore be well considered and requires great care in planning and implementation. If there is an accompanying nasal obstruction, the procedure can be performed together with an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist. The procedure is performed under anaesthesia with a short hospital stay. A cast or nasal splint is fitted during surgery and worn for a week. After removal, a slight swelling remains for a few weeks.

With a lipofilling, lost volume in the face or breasts can be gently restored – completely without foreign materials. The body's own fat is harvested, carefully prepared, and strategically used to harmonize contours and improve skin quality.
The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis and takes about 1-2 hours. Depending on the scope, it is done under local anesthesia or twilight sleep. Especially for facial treatments, the fat is often taken from the thighs or legs, leaving only very small puncture sites.
After the treatment, rest and light compression garments are recommended for a few days. Breaks from sports and work should be planned for about one week. The final result becomes visible after 4-6 months when the fatty tissue is fully integrated – and it remains permanent.
Wrinkles and uneven skin texture can be treated either non-surgically or with minimally invasive surgical methods, depending on their type. The non-surgical treatments are performed at the corrigé practice, while the minimally invasive surgical procedures can be done on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, with or without twilight sedation. PD Dr. Eva Rüegg will analyze which method is ideal for you in a personal consultation.
Botulinum Toxin (Botox):
This method is particularly suitable for fine mimic wrinkles. The botulinum toxin is injected into the facial muscles with a fine needle. The connection between the nerves and the facial muscles is blocked, allowing the overlying skin to relax and appear smoother. The effect lasts for about three to four months.
Filler with Hyaluronic Acid:
Wrinkles of varying depth can be treated with hyaluronic acid. The filler can also be used to sculpt facial shapes and contours, such as the chin or lips.
Microneedling with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma):
Skin quality can be improved with microneedling and the use of your own plasma. The PRP treatment uses no foreign substances. The plasma is obtained through a blood draw and then injected into the skin. The body’s own growth factors and nutrients in the plasma promote skin regeneration, resulting in firmer and healthier-looking skin.
Peeling:
In a peel, the skin is treated with fruit acids or trichloroacetic acid to improve its texture. The skin appears brighter and smoother. Pigmentation spots and fine lines can be treated with deeper peels, which may also have a lifting effect. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. Depending on the depth of the peel, prolonged redness may occur.
Fat Grafting (Autologous Fat Filler):
This is a minimally invasive surgical technique. Fat is gently extracted from the body and injected into the wrinkle area. Because your own fat is used, allergies or rejection reactions are excluded. The stem cells in the fat provide a long-lasting and natural effect. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and, in some cases, under twilight sedation.
Often a combination of different interventions makes sense to achieve a harmonious overall result. These can take place in the same session or staggered in time.
Both various diseases and congenital malformations or accidents cause an asymmetry of the body. This often means a great deal of suffering for the patient. If your body is not harmonious, at corrigé, we help you improve your quality of life.
Corrigé Lucerne specialises not only in aesthetic but also in reconstructive facial surgery.
Some of the most common procedures concern skin cancer. We work together with various dermatologists. We perform both tissue removal and reconstruction. A variety of techniques are used to achieve discrete scars without deformation. Of course, all tissue samples are examined histologically, at delicate points even during surgery.
In this congenital disease, also called Recklinghausen's disease, there are very different manifestations. Only discreet café-au-lait spots can occur, but in rare cases also larger tissue masses with massive disfigurements due to hanging skin and tissue masses can occur. We perform modelling tissue removal on the face and body.
In the case of disturbing or enlarged scars and, in rare cases, keloids after accidents or previous operations, a correction can be made. Various techniques are used.
Thanks to many years of experience in reconstructive facial surgery after ENT, cancer and major facial defects after Noma disease, we can advise and treat you competently.
