Breast lift (mastopexy)

Breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty)

Overly large breasts can cause physical discomfort and limitations. During a breast reduction, excess tissue is removed and the breast is reshaped and lifted. The result: greater ease and proportions that are once again in balance with the rest of the body.

Gynecomastia

Enlarged male breasts can result from hormonal changes, genetic factors or excess weight. If the change persists or causes discomfort, excess glandular and/or fatty tissue is gently removed and the chest is contoured.

Implant Exchange

An implant exchange may be medically necessary or desired for aesthetic reasons. We correct changes in shape, capsular contracture or asymmetrical results from previous surgery and restore a natural, harmonious breast shape.

Breast Reconstruction

Tuberous (tubular) breasts are a congenital shape variant in which the breast does not fully develop and appears narrow, tubular or asymmetrical. Corrective surgery harmonises the shape, volume and areola.

Breast Reshaping

After breast cancer or in cases of natural asymmetry, a breast can be adjusted in shape, size or position. Targeted lifting, reduction or a small enlargement restores a balanced, natural overall appearance.

Breast Reconstruction with Implants

After removal of breast gland tissue, the breast can be reconstructed using an expander or implant. This method is particularly suitable when sufficient skin and soft tissue are available. As part of breast reconstruction, the nipple can also be reconstructed if required to complete the overall aesthetic result as naturally as possible.

Fat Transfer for Shape Correction

After breast-conserving therapy or in cases of minor shape differences, your own fat can be used selectively to improve volume, contours and skin quality. One to two sessions are often sufficient for a harmonious result.

I had a breast reduction and lift performed by Dr. Rüegg and am extremely satisfied with the entire treatment, including consultation, preparation, execution, and especially with the beautiful result.
I had breasts that were too large, asymmetrical, and somewhat sagging due to two pregnancies, with a cup size of 75G. Dr. Rüegg advised me professionally, empathetically, and honestly. The surgery went smoothly, and the care before and after the operation by the entire team was extremely pleasant.
The pain in the first few days and occasionally in the first few weeks was relatively minor and very manageable with mild painkillers. All in all, I felt very well cared for by Dr. Rüegg and her team and am very grateful for the great result and the new sense of well-being.
