In the implant technique, a silicone implant is inserted through a short, inconspicuous incision under general anesthesia. Depending on the initial situation, the implant is positioned above or below the chest muscle. Shape, size, and position are precisely matched to the existing breast shape and the desired silhouette during the consultation. This method allows for significant enlargement and a very exact definition of the breast shape.
In lipofilling, the body’s own fat is gently obtained from suitable donor sites such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks, processed, and then injected into the breast. This method is suitable for patients who desire a gentle, particularly natural enlargement and wish to avoid implants. Part of the transplanted fat heals permanently and leads to a soft, harmonious breast shape.
